Gamifying Perth's Public Transport

Working together with Moonsail and WA's Public Transport Authority, six train carriages were completely reimagined by local Perth artists in this social media campaign. Inspired by the people watching I find myself doing whilst on public transport, these illustrations ask: what would your train commute look like in a video game?

With an unending pool of genres to choose from, a wide series of illustrations could be created. I was struck by questions like: what would the train look like in a fantasy setting versus a mystery or thriller story?

These illustrations ask Transperth riders to wonder what stories each characters shares and what narratives could be explored through the objects found in the carriage.

Each setting unlocks a whole new perspective, encouraging passengers to take in their surroundings with curiosity.
